Quilting Corners Guild Provides Comfort to Ukrainian Family

On Tuesday, May 3rd Quilting Corners Guild had the honour of presenting 3 Quilts of Comfort to Natalia, Dana & Tim, who have just arrived in the Alliston area from Ukraine. They are a Ukrainian family who left everything behind, including their father. Cathy and Ian True and their family have generously welcomed them to Canada and are providing shelter and support. The family is adjusting to their new surroundings and the children have started school this week. They are a lovely family and so appreciative of all the kindness shown to them.

Sorting Day!

Jill, Senora, Janice and Cheryl spent today cleaning and sorting through the guild fabric stash.  We made some fabric salad bags, cat bags and some piecing kits.  All will be available at the next guild meeting.  Bring your $2 and $5 change to purchase a “Fabric Salad” or two at our April meeting.

Lovely lunch and great company!

March 2022 AGM

Thank you to everyone who attended our delightful in person guild meeting last evening. It was so nice to see so many out for a full meeting. Our new executive is in place, lots of Show n Tell, Community Outreach and raffles. Lots of fun! And a moment of recognition for Ukraine. 🌻

Dianne and Cheryl exchanging the rotary cutter and rules book as Cheryl takes on President for 2022-2023.  Many thanks to Dianne for holding down the Prez position for two years and guiding us through the Covid experience.

Dianne thanking the Executive for their support and commitment over the last two years.
